Carborundum Wear-resistant Floor Coating

Product Introduction:

Carborundum Floor Material is a wear-resistant, anti-slip and corrosion-resistant floor system composed of high-strength aggregates (natural ore or synthetic carborundum), cement substrates and functional additives through pre-mixing processes.

Construction Process:

1.Base Concrete Pouring: Pour concrete according to design requirements, compact with vibration, initially level with a screed, and control the flatness of the concrete surface;

2.First Aggregate Spreading: When the concrete is initially set (no obvious indentation when pressed with fingers), evenly spread about 60% of the carborundum material to ensure uniform coverage;

3.Mechanical Grinding: Grind with a power trowel with a disc to fully combine the material with the concrete until the surface exudes slurry;

4.Second Aggregate Spreading: Spread the remaining 40% of the material and repeat the grinding process to further improve surface density and flatness;

5.Fine Grinding and Finishing: After the material is fully wetted, replace the blade for fine grinding and finishing to ensure a smooth surface without obvious marks;

6.Curing Treatment: Cover with a curing film or sprinkle water for curing within 24 hours after construction. The curing period is not less than 7 days to prevent surface cracking.

Construction Instructions:

1.When the newly poured concrete is initially set, evenly spread the carborundum aggregate on its surface, and level the floor with a power trowel;

2.Spread the carborundum aggregate again, level and polish;

3.Apply curing agent;

4.Make expansion joints as required.
