Emery Hardener / Floor Hardener Product Data Sheet
Product Introduction
Emery Hardener (also known as Floor Hardener or Mineral Aggregate Flooring) is a dry-shake floor hardener composed of selected emery mineral aggregates, special cement, additives, and pigments. It is uniformly spread on the surface of freshly poured concrete at the initial setting stage, then compacted, leveled, and finished using a power trowel to form a highly dense, wear-resistant, impact-resistant colored or gray floor. It contains no volatile organic compounds like epoxy resins, making it an environmentally friendly building material.
Performance Features
Superior Wear Resistance: Emery aggregate hardness ≥ Mohs 8, wear resistance increased by over 300% compared to ordinary concrete
High Impact Resistance: Dense structure withstands heavy object drops and heavy vehicle traffic
Non-Dusting: Sealed surface eliminates concrete dusting problems
Same Lifespan as Concrete: Integrated construction with substrate ensures no delamination
Color Options: Natural cement gray, green, red, yellow, etc. (customizable upon request)
Cost-Effective: Fast installation and lower cost than epoxy flooring
Scope of Application
Heavy industrial plants: machine shops, automotive manufacturing, heavy equipment workshops
Warehousing & logistics: high-bay warehouses, sorting centers, forklift aisles
Public facilities: parking lots, exhibition halls, shopping mall corridors
Municipal projects: docks, bridge sidewalks, park pathways

Construction Procedures
1. Concrete Pouring: Pour concrete grade ≥ C25, vibrate well, control flatness ≤ 3mm/2m
2. First Application: At initial set (footprint depth 3-5mm), spread 2/3 of total hardener
3. First Troweling: Once aggregate darkens due to moisture absorption, compact with power trowel (float disc)
4. Second Application: Spread remaining 1/3 hardener perpendicular to first direction
5. Finishing: After surface dries, repeatedly trowel with blades until smooth and uniform color
6. Curing: Apply curing compound or cover with plastic film for ≥ 7 days
Dosage and packaging
Coverage: 5 kg/m2 (approx. 2-3 mm thickness)
Packaging: 25 kg/bag, moisture-proof woven bag
Storage: Dry, cool place; shelf life 6 months

Precautions
Substrate concrete strength must be ≥C25, otherwise adhesion may be compromised
Do not apply in rain or temperatures below 5°C
Slight color variation may occur between batches; use same batch for large areas
Inspect packaging before use; do not use material that is damp or caked
